1. Scope
The present Conditions of Use govern the relationship between BICOT, located in Luanda - Angola, Rua Luís Mota Feo, no. 18, which is the owner of the Website www.Angola-Books.com and the client, whose customer information is inserted in BICOT's website www.Angola-Books.com (hereinafter referred as "Angola-Books.com"). BICOT applies these Conditions of use to individuals, companies or organizations in scope of their private, commercial or self-employment professional activities. For using the Angola-Books.com website these Conditions of Use are applicable.
2. Contract
Your order represents an offer to us of the conclusion of a purchase contract. If you give up an order with Angola-Books.com, we send you an email that confirms your order was received and confirms the details of your order. A purchase contract comes in force with sending the invoice to the customer.
3. Order Placing
Ordering online is a simple and fast process with Angola-Books.com. Browsing through the products you can add articles to the shopping cart and check out for ordering. If you have already an account with Angola-Books.com, then you can go ahead and login. If you don't have an account yet you can register easily. With your account with Angola-Books.com you can administrate your shipping and billing information online and you will have access to special offers. After finishing the order process and your payment, your order will be placed with Angola-Books.com and you will receive an email confirmation. You will also be informed by email about the shipment of the products.
4. Pricing
For local purchases the product prices are in Angolan Kwanza (AOA). While for international customers the product prices are in United States Dollar (USD) or alternatively in Euro (EUR). The total amount charged will be composed of the product price and the shipping and handling costs.
5. Payments
The amount to pay will be calculated according your order placed in the shopping cart. The payments are advance payments. We offer several payment methods. International customer can pay with PayPal or with Credit Card. This service is provided by the well-recognized Internet Payment solution provider Skrill and customers registered for this services can use as well this payment method.
For local purchases the payments can be done in Angolan Kwanza (AOA) by "Multicaixa" on every ATM and by Internet Banking.
6. Change of Orders
Whenever you need to change the order, please contact us using the following email address: and please give us your order number as reference. We will look up your order and process the change for you. However the change must be communicated before the goods are shipped.
7. Retraction and Return Policy
You can cancel your contract without reasons in text form (for example letter or email) within 30 days, or through return of the goods. This period begins at the earliest with receipt of the goods. In case of retraction the goods must be sent back and the paid invoice amount will be back-granted. You may return new, unopened items sold by Angola-Books.com within 30 days from receipt for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received for example an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Customs fees are not refundable. If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please communicate to us the request for replacement. Items that are opened or returned more than 30 days after receipt will receive a partial refund. As these are case to case decisions we will communicate the relevant percentage of refund accordingly. 8. Risk of Loss and damaged Goods
All items purchased from Angola-Books.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss for such items pass to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier. If the customer receives any damaged good he must contact the shipping company and us as soon as possible in order to process any claims. Do not discard the box or packaging material until the matter is settled. The company BICOT provides the maximum support to solve such matters.
9. Delivery Time
BICOT accepts orders from all around the world. Shipping time and rates may vary depending on the delivery address for your order and your choice of shipment carrier (Mail Service, Express Mail Service (EMS) or DHL). For an approximate shipping time you can consult the following table.
10. Shipping Costs
Shipping is calculated based on the approximate weight of your package. In order to give you an exact shipping cost we would have to know exactly what you are ordering. When you put items in your shopping cart, the shipping cost is calculated and adjusted according to the items you put in your cart. When you place your order you will be given an option to choose the relevant carrier.
11. Customs Related Issues
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches his country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. We are also not responsible for any customs delays in receiving your order. This is beyond our control and will not be acceptable as a reason for refusal of the goods sent. Generally speaking, you are the responsible for ensuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. For all orders from Angola-Books.com, the recipient is the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

The purchase contract is subject to Angolan law.
